Peter Matson
Peter is Co-Chairman of the Agency, and an agent with a diverse client list which, at first glance, might seem difficult to define. The one link is that all the writers he represents appeal to him personally in their different ways. Some of the most successful books he has sold include Dee Brown's Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee and John Irving's The World According to Garp. He is equally proud to represent the books and stories of writers such as Ruth Rendell, William Trevor and Barry Lopez, to name just a few. Peter maintains a strong interest in historical narrative as well, illustrated by such clients as Max Hastings and Alan Brinkley.
