Paul Rodeen
Paul has been with Sterling Lord Literistic since 2001, where he worked as George Nicholson's assistant for three years. In 2004 Paul moved back to Illinois and opened a small SLL office based in Chicago. Paul specializes in placing picture books by artists that both write and illustrate, but he is actively seeking writers of fiction and nonfiction for young adult and middle grade readers. He also accepts picture book texts as well as portfolios from illustrators looking to place their work in book publishing. His clients include: Peter Brown, Jeff Newman, Aaron Reynolds, Michael Townsend, David Barneda, Julia Sarcone Roach, Laura Levine, Frans Vischer and Melissa Wyatt. Paul accepts hard copy and electronic submissions.
