Pearl Cadigan, Literary Assistant

Pearl joined Sterling Lord Literistic, Inc. in 2023 and works with Laurie Liss, Danielle Bukowski, and Nadyne Pike. She enjoys both fiction and nonfiction, and generally seeks out books that navigate uncharted territory while remaining deeply rooted in the human condition. In fiction, she looks for books that possess a distinct voice, follow characters through periods of growth, and don’t shy away from absurdity. She loves prose that is simultaneously accessible and evocative, and she's always looking for sentences that take her breath away. In nonfiction, she is drawn to books that offer new ways to understand and exist within our world. She is especially called to works of narrative nonfiction that explore identity, media, niche areas of culture or history, and wellness. Pearl graduated with a BS in Magazine, News, and Digital Journalism from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. When she’s not reading, she can likely be found checking new restaurants off her ‘want to try’ list or watching Bravo.
