Tess Fresco, Literary Assistant
Tess joined Sterling Lord Literistic, Inc. in 2024 and works with Flip Brophy and Danielle Bukowski. In both fiction and nonfiction, Tess loves stories that explore the beauty, tragedy, and joy in everyday life. She believes that by focusing on ordinary people in ordinary situations, we’re able to better appreciate the style and distinctiveness of the writing. She is particularly interested in historical fiction, slice-of-life pieces and coming of age stories that delve into character and personhood and explore themes such as music and society as well as gender norms, sexuality, and race. A writer herself, Tess graduated from Skidmore College in 2024 with honors in English and minors in Black Studies and History.
